Day 1: Arrival in Srinagar
Upon arrival at Srinagar Airport, you’ll be greeted by your tour representative and transferred to your hotel or houseboat. After a brief rest, embark on a relaxing Shikara ride on the famous Dal Lake, taking in the stunning views of the surrounding mountains and floating gardens. Later, visit the Mughal Gardens, including Shalimar Bagh, Nishat Bagh, and Chashme Shahi, known for their exquisite beauty and Persian-style architecture. Return to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Srinagar to Sonamarg
After an early breakfast, depart for Sonamarg, also known as the “Meadow of Gold.” The drive takes you through picturesque landscapes along the Sindh River. Upon arrival, explore the beautiful meadows and enjoy activities like pony rides or a visit to Thajiwas Glacier (activities at your own expense). Day 3: Srinagar to Gulmarg
Post-breakfast, proceed to Gulmarg, renowned for its breathtaking beauty and as a popular skiing destination. On arrival, enjoy a thrilling Gondola ride (Asia’s highest and longest cable car) to Apharwat Peak, offering panoramic views of the snow-capped mountains. Explore the meadows and, if time allows, indulge in activities like horse riding or simply stroll through the lush landscapes. Return to Srinagar for dinner and a restful night.
Day 4: Departure from Srinagar
After breakfast, check out from your accommodation and, depending on your flight schedule, you may have some leisure time for last-minute shopping or sightseeing. Finally, you’ll be transferred to Srinagar Airport for your onward journey, with unforgettable memories of your enchanting Kashmir trip. Safe travels!
